I joined Gangverk on a 6-month contract as UI designer, placed with Helix to establish the design foundation for Silva, a healthcare platform with both clinician and patient-facing sides.

I set up the design system from the ground up by taking an existing system I knew well, reskinning it to the Helix brand, and building it out as the shared foundation for the product. My primary focus was the Practice side (the clinician-facing tool), working closely with UX researchers to understand what was needed and translating that direction into UI, making sure everything landed in properly structured, reusable components.

I also prepared the patient-facing side for launch, and supported front-end with clarifications throughout to keep design and implementation aligned. The project was awarded Best Use of Technology at the SVEF Icelandic Web Awards 2025.
