Our project was to create an application for maternity leave anddonly had a few days to do so. Part of my role as the UI designer was to create a sample of the solution along with a design system, record an explanation video and present the final product to a panel of experts. Our primary objective was to identify ways to streamline the process of detaining an individual. As the team's MVP solution designer, I was tasked with creating a prototype and designing future ideas. Afterward, the team continued to work on the project until it was launched, at which point another Kolibri team took over to iterate, maintain, and add additional features. The solution we developed was awarded the Best Web System of 2020 at the Icelandic Web Award.
